This was a great attraction. I was in Vegas for a conference. My first day there was a travel day, so I spent it here and in Quark's Bar. Ahh, the Romulan Ale. I must have gone through the simulator ride seven times. It was a weekday and it wasn't busy. The last time through I have to admit I touched several of the control stations. Great times.....

I had so much fun here. I rember ordering a "warp-core breach" at Quark's bar, and then having a drunken discussion with a Klingon officer who literally knew EVERYTHING about Star Trek History. Everything. I tried to stump him and he cut right through it, in character. In full-regalia. Its was amazing.

I remember standing in the back of the bridge in awe thinking - I know what each of these consoles do. I sooooo wanted to start pushing buttons, but the crew were mind-readers and command me not to touch anything before I even made a move. The transporter effect was wicked cool... still trying to figure out exactly how they did it all these years later.

98, 99, 02, and 04 were the only times I got to visit Star Trek the Experience. Quarks bar and grill was really cool.

It felt real
